What is RetroDaily?
RetroDaily is the home to a group of friends internet stuffs. The idea started with Herao's first Let's Play, "Pokemon Yellow", and grew when Lodos suggested Fanfics.
What is on RetroDaily?
You'll find Let's Plays, Fanfics, Reviews, Top-10 lists, as well as a weekly Podcast. Our most important feature is the community aspect. Along with the forum, we are working to make the community section of the website a lot more fun and interactive. Hopefully this is a place you'll be able to find friends.
What is this "Anime Trivia Hour"?
Anime Trivia Hour is a trivia game Herao and Lodos started within AOL Chatrooms many, many years ago. When the idea of RetroDaily was starting to become a reality, they decided to bring it back - in a new form. Anime Trivia Hour will be a weekly one hour Trivia Game hosted through a live stream. It'll debut sometime in Early 2012 so keep an eye out!
I'm writing a fanfic.. can I get it hosted on RetroDaily?
Certainly. We are always looking to grow our family. If you're proud of your work and want it to be seen by people with similar interests, feel free to shoot us an e-mail at spotlight@RetroDaily.com.
Do you get paid?
At this current point, all funds made through the ad program and donations go directly to new equipment for the staff members. That doesn't mean you can't donate to a specific person to help them out financially. When you go to donate, specify which staff member you want to get the money and we'll send it their way.
What is Spotlight?
Spotlights are Let's Plays/LPers or Fanfic stories/writers we really like a lot and feel they deserve recognition, sort of like our own Hall of Fame. Mainly we do this so you can go check out their work.
The website is being buggy, what do I do?
Head over to the forum or send us an e-mail at support@RetroDaily.com and we'll get it fixed as fast as possible!
Can I suggest a feature?
Sure, just e-mail us.
What's with the ads?
Well, you see, we thought having just the plain ol' boring site wouldn't be enough for you guys.. so we decided to bring in some pop-ups to annoy you all! Yay! In all seriousness, if you're experiencing popup ads, it should only happen once every 24 hours. We are continuing to work on the situation to make it better.
Can I donate money or games to RetroDaily?
We take donations through our Paypal account (Link coming soon). Be sure to specify which staff member or feature you want to support. As far as old games or movies, we'd love to take anything you're not using off your hands and add them to the RetroDaily collection! E-mail us at business@retrodaily.com and we'll set you up with our mailing address!
